Who we are
This policy explains how MadNomad (“we”, “us”) handles information in the mobile game Pixel Match (“the App”). If anything here is unclear, contact us at madnomadgames@gmail.com.
Scope
The App is playable by all ages. We do not require an account. Signing in with Google Play Games is optional and only used for leaderboards.
Information we collect
When you play without signing in
- No personal information is collected.
- Gameplay progress and settings are stored locally on your device.
When you choose to sign in with Google Play Games (optional)
- Google Play Games Player ID (a unique identifier provided by Google).
- Public profile name (display name) from your Google Play Games profile.
- Leaderboard score(s) that you submit.
- A consent flag indicating that you agreed to appear on leaderboards.
How we use this information
- To create and display leaderboards and show your own ranking.
- To prevent abuse and maintain game integrity (e.g., duplicate or invalid entries).
Data sharing & processing
- We do not sell personal data.
- We use service providers (processors) to run the App:
- Google Play Games Services – authentication and basic profile data when you choose to sign in.
- Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore – store your Player ID, display name and score(s). Google (Alphabet) is the processor operating these services.
- Your data may be processed on servers located in the EU and/or the United States.
Children
The App can be enjoyed by players of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Younger players should use the App without signing in. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Data retention
- Leaderboard data is kept while your account remains linked and you have not asked for deletion.
- If you unlink Google Play Games or request deletion, we remove your leaderboard entry.
Your choices & rights
- You can play offline without signing in.
- You can unlink Google Play Games from within Google settings.
- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your leaderboard data by emailing us at madnomadgames@gmail.com and providing your Google Play Games Player ID.
Security
We use industry‑standard protections such as transport encryption (HTTPS) and least‑privilege access to the database. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Policy changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
